I'm looking for a good timing light and tach. Is it better to get them seperate or an all in one unit. There's a tach on the samba but I'm not sure about it. Any body have any thoughts?

Edit: I'm going to get one that has the advance dial if I can find one cheap enough

I use the light without the dial and a degree pulley. As for the Tach for tuning I use an old Sun Dwell Meter that has a Tach built in. For the car I run the Auto Meter with a shift light. _________________ 1962 "Red Rocket" 2110 Toy

You can find dwell meter/ tachs at yard sales for a couple of bucks. Seems like everyone has to have one, but most only use them once, and they sit in the garage forever..... Mine's a Craftsman.
I got my Snap on timing light at a yard sale too. _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam
