I procured a new set of EMPI HI-PERFORMANCE 1.25 RATIO ROCKER assemblies. They fit, but can I and is it wise to use them on the SP 1600 that I'm rebuilding? It's being rebuilt stock. Better performance? Just better parts over stock? No way in hell? Advice please.

Pure CRAP. Give them to me for disposal!
Actually, I would think they would work well on your engine. ( If it turns out I am wrong, I would be interested in them ) _________________ 73 Typ481

You'll need to use lash caps on your valve stem tips- so they don't wear out your valve tips. Read up on valve train geometry too. I'll loan you an adjustable pushrod if you need one. _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam
